Barrister Gazi Farhad Reza, Partner; LLB, London Metropolitan University, UK; LLM (International Trade), Northumbria University, UK; PGDL, Northumbria University, UK; Barrister-at-Law, Lincolns’ INN, UK; Advocate, Bangladesh Supreme Court. Barrister Gazi strated his legal career in 2010 and since then he has gained experience in matters such as representative suits, lease drafting, bail petitions, and Aurtho Rin (money debt) matters. He is a former associate in M. Hasan and Associates working with Barrister Manzoor Hasan. There Barrister Gazi has assisted drafting legal opinions for multinational companies, foreign government agencies and international bodies i.e. World Bank. He has also taken part in drafting keynote presentations for numerous national and international seminars. Further he worked directly with Dr. Kamal Hossain in various International Arbitration cases as a member of Dr. Kamal Hossain and Associates. Notably he assisted Dr. Hossain in Sempra v Argentina, Indian Potash v Nepal and many other international arbitration matters. Gazi’s practice area includes Civil, Criminal, Writ, Company and admiralty matters. He also deals with Vat and Customs cases, international arbitration, domestic dispute settlement by way of mediation and arbitration. 

Barrister Gazi has also developed capacity in language and leadership training home and abroad.  He is a graduate of Uprising Leadership programme, London. He was trained as a soft skill and language trainer in the UK. He was selected as a young advocate by ‘Changemaker’, a UK based organisation, to promote youth mobility and confidence. He has also served the London Metropolitan Police Services (MPS) as trainee administrator for more approximately 2(two) years. In Bangladesh he worked with London College of Legal Studies (South) and Xcel language institute as Law and English Language faculty respectively.
